About Me

Louise is a leatherworker in Devon on the edge of beautiful Dartmoor National Park. She ¬†specialises in luxury hand stitched goods, every piece created is made entirely by hand. Working from her shepherd’s hut workshop she creates products for humans and their dogs. She also takes in repairs and commissions.

Having completed many courses, starting with a introduction to leatherwork course then moving onto creating leather handbags and restoration of leather goods with Val Michael and Neil Mcgregor in beautiful Tetbury. Followed by a bridlework course in Shropshire to name a few. Louise started selling her products at craft shows and events in December 2017. As all in person events were off the cards in 2020/21 Louise focussed on selling online. Louise has also had her products featured in magazines such as Country Life, Sloan!, Your Dog and Horse and Hound to name a few.

Louise has two daughters, two black labs and (if she says it quietly it doesn’t sound too bad!) four horses. In her spare time Louise can be found spending time with her family, riding over the moors or taking part in western riding competitions.

For the future Louise is looking forward to getting back to meeting people in person at events and providing luxury leather goods for people who want to get away from fast fashion and spend their money wisely on heirloom products made to last.
